Action was our middle name.
The numbers are in, and 1,177 volunteers pitched in for Climate Action Month. 1,945 trees and 3,353 plants found a home in the Washington soil, and 5,133 square feet of invasive plants have been aptly removed.
Perhaps most impressive of all, 34,000 square feet of parks and woodlands have been restored and maintained throughout the state. Not bad for a month’s work.
